Gaza death toll from Israeli strikes tops 24,100

Tel Aviv [Israel], January 16: The death toll from Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, when the Israel-Hamas conflict escalated, has exceeded 24,100, the enclave's health ministry said on Monday.
"Since October 7, the death toll from Israeli aggression has exceeded 24,100 and 60,834 others have been injured," the ministry said.
A further 132 people have been killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip within 24 hours, it added. (Agencies)
