Blast kills 2, injures 14 in Afghanistan's Kabul

Kabul [Afghanistan], January 7: Two persons have been confirmed dead and 14 others sustained injury as a blast ripped through a mini-bus in Dasht-i-Barchi locality of Police District 6 in Afghan capital Kabul on Saturday, Kabul police spokesman Khalid Zadran said.
All the victims are civilians, Zadran said, adding that the injured have been taken to nearby hospitals.
However, Zadran did not provide more details, saying that investigation has been initiated into the incident.
In the meantime, locals in the Dasht-i-Barchi area said the blast targeted a mini-bus at around 06:30 local time inflicting casualties.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility.
