6 killed, 12 injured in traffic accident in central Morocco

Rabat [Morocco], July 15: Six people were killed and 12 others were injured in a traffic accident in central Morocco on Friday, authorities said.
The accident took place on a road linking Marrakech and Safi, following a collision between a car and a taxi, local authorities said.
Six people were killed on the spot, and 12 others, including six seriously injured, were transferred to local hospitals.
Over 3,200 people were killed in road accidents in Morocco in 2022, according to official statistics.
